Med spa websites, audited: where the bookings are leaking
Med spas and aesthetic clinics are chosen on reviews, photos and how easy it is to book. Here is how to find the ones losing appointments, and what to measure first.
Med spas and aesthetic clinics sell something personal, priced high, to people who shop around. A prospective client looks at the rating on the Google listing, scrolls the photos, and then tries to book. If any of those three steps is weak, they book with the clinic two streets over. Most owners built the business on Instagram and treat the website as an afterthought, which is why so many of these sites are where the bookings leak.
Where the money is hiding
No enquiry form on the site. The finding that matters most. A clinic whose site has no form to fill in is asking someone who is ready to spend money to go and find a phone number instead. Many of them do not bother.
A rating under 4.0, or too few reviews. Clients of aesthetic treatments read reviews more closely than almost any other local buyer, and filter on stars before they read anything else. A clinic sitting at 3.9, or at fourteen reviews against a rival with two hundred, loses on the listing before the website gets a chance.
A slow first view on a phone. These sites are heavy with before-and-after photos and video, and they are almost always opened on a phone from an Instagram link. When the largest image takes four seconds to appear, the visitor is already back in the app.
What the audit gives you that a screenshot does not
The audit reads the Google listing as well as the website: the rating, the review count, how often the owner replies, its hours and photos, and the recurring complaints in the reviews themselves. Next to that it measures the site: whether there is an enquiry form and a tap-to-call link, how long the main image takes to load on a phone, and what an owner can do about each one.
That pairing is what makes this niche a good one. You can show a clinic owner where they lose clients before the click and after it, in one report, with the number behind every claim.
Running the sweep
In the search screen, pick the Med spas and aesthetic clinics playbook. It fills the keyword field with the terms these businesses are found under (med spas, aesthetic clinics, botox clinic, laser hair removal, skin clinic) and weights the outreach towards booking, reviews and mobile speed.
Pair it with the reputation scoring profile in your settings if this is the niche you work in. It weights the composite towards the listing and the reviews, so the clinics at the top of your list are the ones you can most obviously help.
